Part of an ongoing exploration of materials, tools and colour, this artwork utilises a pen plotter (CNC drawing robot) to create a physical representation of individual frames taken from my motion artworks. Embracing the movement of the machine and texture found through the use of broad nib calligraphy pens and ink, the artwork plays with the notion of taking the digital and introducing gesture and tactility.
