‘Lessons Learned’ is a ceramic sculpture that draws from my continued exploration of materials and trial and error processes. 

Created after the “lessons learned” during the making of a previous the piece ‘Till it kills me…’, this sculpture is a testament to creative persistence and seeing challenges as just that, a challenge, not a brick wall. 

With overall dimensions of 160 x 110 x 75mm, this wheel thrown piece is created from two small vessels, trimmed into each unique shape before being joined and refined by hand then fired raw (without glaze) to 1280°C for a tactile and crafted finish.
